6-Day Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Trek with Hut Stays

Trek Kilimanjaro on the 6-day Marangu Route with shared hut stays and an acclimatization day at Horombo. Starts and finishes in Arusha.

Duration

6 Days / 5 Nights

Group Size

2–10 Guests

Tour Overview

Experience Tanzania at the right pace.

Climb Mount Kilimanjaro on the six-day Marangu Route, using shared mountain huts instead of tented camps. The trek follows the same route up and down and includes a second night at Horombo before continuing to Kibo and a guided summit attempt.

The six days and five nights refer to the mountain programme. Transfers start and finish in Arusha; arrive before day one for a briefing and equipment check, and plan a hotel night after the descent. Those additional nights and international travel sit outside the advertised trekking duration. The extra Horombo day provides acclimatization time, but does not guarantee a summit or remove altitude-related risk.
