Meet your guide in Arusha for a day in Arusha National Park. Explore accessible habitats on a game drive with a picnic lunch, then return to your Arusha accommodation. Any ranger-led walk is an optional, separately confirmed activity; the core plan does not depend on securing a walking permit.
Depart early for Lake Manyara National Park and enjoy a game drive through its forest and lakeshore habitats. After lunch, leave the park and continue towards Lake Eyasi. Arrive at the selected lodge or camp and prepare for the following morning’s hosted cultural experience. This day includes both park time and a road transfer.
Join a pre-arranged visit led by a local host in the Lake Eyasi area. Hadzabe or Datoga participation depends on community availability and consent; the experience is not a staged or guaranteed activity. Afterwards, begin the long drive towards Lake Natron. No additional afternoon excursion is promised on this transfer day.
Explore accessible lakeshore areas with a local guide during a cooler part of the day. Birdlife, lake levels and viewing access change with conditions. Rest during the hotter hours. A waterfall walk may be offered as an optional alternative if the guide considers the water levels and terrain suitable for your group.
If departure timing allows, take a short early guided walk before returning by road to Arusha. Allow substantial time for the drive and breaks. End at the agreed Arusha drop-off point; plan an overnight stay or a carefully timed onward transfer rather than booking an early flight on this day.
