Meet your airport transfer at DAR and settle into your hotel. Use the remainder of the day to rest and review the safari plan. The first road transfer is scheduled for the following morning, allowing flexibility for international arrival times.

Spend the day exploring with your safari guide. Game drives form the core programme; a Rufiji-area boat activity may be arranged instead of part of the drive if the camp offers it and conditions allow. Set out early for a long transfer to Mikumi on the route confirmed by the operator. Seasonal access may require a longer alternative road journey or an added transit night, so this connection must be checked before booking. No game drive is promised today. Take regular breaks and arrive at your accommodation for dinner.
Enjoy a morning game drive in Mikumi, then continue to the Udzungwa foothills after lunch. The contrast between open wildlife country and greener mountain scenery is part of the appeal of this circuit. Settle into your lodge and prepare suitable footwear and a day bag for tomorrow’s guided walk.

Travel towards Ruaha via the Iringa area. Allow the day for the road transfer and rest stops rather than expecting a full wildlife programme. Arrive at your selected camp, settle in and prepare for a full safari day. The final travel time depends on roads and the location of your accommodation.
Spend a full day exploring Ruaha with a flexible game-drive plan. Your guide follows local sightings and accessible tracks while leaving time for observation and photography. A picnic lunch can keep you out in the park, or return to camp between drives if that better suits the group and camp location.
Transfer to the airstrip for the flight specified in your final itinerary. After arrival in Dar es Salaam, continue to the hotel and relax before your international journey. This city night protects the itinerary from an unnecessarily tight bush-flight connection; schedules and baggage allowances must be checked at booking.
